How to Download Your Private TikTok Videos
Method 1: Using SSSTik (Recommended)

- 2. Temporarily change visibility to "Everyone"
- 3. Copy the video link via Share → Copy Link
- 4. Paste the link on SSSTik and download (no watermark)
- 5. Switch the video back to private/friends only
Method 2: TikTok In-App Save
- 1. Open TikTok and go to your private video
- 2. Tap the three dots (···) menu
- 3. Select "Save video" to save to your camera roll
- 4. Note: This saves WITH the TikTok watermark

Can I download someone else's private video?
No. SSSTik can only download publicly accessible TikTok videos. Private videos from other users are not accessible and cannot be downloaded. We respect user privacy settings.
Do I need to keep the video public?
No. You only need to set the video to public briefly while you copy the link and download it. Once the download is complete, you can immediately switch the video back to private.
Can I download TikTok drafts?
TikTok drafts are stored locally on your device and are not published to TikTok servers. They cannot be downloaded via SSSTik. To save drafts, use your phone's screen recording feature or post them first.
