Which links are accepted?

Links to public TikTok videos (tiktok.com/@username/video/…) and vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com short links. A live or profile link takes you to the right page.

Can I keep only the audio?

Yes: choose MP3 before exporting. Each clip becomes an audio file.

What video quality will I get?

The best resolution TikTok offers for that video, up to 1080p depending on the source, in H.264. If the video only exists in a lower resolution, that is what you get.

How do I cut a TikTok video?

Open the video in the editor, set a start and an end on the timeline, add the clip, then export. Precise mode cuts to the exact frame; fast mode is quicker, but the start may shift by one to a few seconds.

Can I download photo posts and slideshows?

Not yet: only videos are supported. If you paste a photo post link, a message tells you so and nothing is started.

Can I download a TikTok story?

If the story is public and still online, copy its link with Share > Copy link and paste it here: if it is a video, it downloads like any other. An expired story or a photo story cannot be downloaded.

Are Douyin links accepted?

No. Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, is a separate service: only tiktok.com links and vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com short links are accepted.

Can I download a video's thumbnail or cover image?

No. ssstiktok.live provides the video as MP4 and the sound as MP3, not cover images.

Can I download my favorites or my drafts?

ssstiktok.live never connects to your TikTok account and only sees public content. For a favorite, open the video, copy its link and paste it here. A draft has no public link, so it cannot be processed.

I used another online TikTok downloader. What is different here?

The idea is the same: paste a link, get the file. ssstiktok.live adds live recording, cutting into clips (MP4, MP3 or ZIP) and profile browsing, and deletes files from the server after processing.
